About Us

The Emory MOMVAX study and research team is comprised of an interdisciplinary group of faculty, staff and students from a variety of institutions, schools and departments. The research team is led by Dr. Saad Omer, an expert in vaccine efficacy and vaccine acceptance. Funding for the Emory MOMVAX study is from the Emory Preparedness and Emergency Response Research Center (Emory PERRC), a CDC-funded grant (grant #: 5P01TP000300) provided to schools of public health to enhance research on improving public health systems in the U.S. to response to large-scale emergencies affecting the nation’s health.
